Laura Richards of Williamston S.C. Con Artist And Criminal: Exposing the Lies

Part Two of our Laura Richard posting is going to focus on exposing her lies. The lies she uses to extort money from innocent people. Many people are unaware of how easily they can be defrauded out of funds by devious individuals online. Laura Richard is one such individual. She weaves a tale of  the ultimate 'Poor Me" and wraps herself in a cloak of self-pity. She is never to blame for any of her issues. Nothing that has happened to her is ever her fault. Nursing license loss she had prescriptions that's why charges were dropped. Totally untrue. The Board of Nursing found her guilty of obtaining prescription drugs by fraud and suspended her nursing license indefinitely. We provided those documents in our first posting. Her story of innocence is nothing more than a fairy tale. The decision from the Nursing Board of Registration is clear and concise. Her excuses are totally laughable and without merit.

Next in a posting she states that the GoFundMe she has now is the first time she has asked for help. Which is also not true.She has had at least three GoFundMe accounts and a YouCaring account. Here are the SS. The circled section is where she states this is her first time asking for help.

Now the truth. Not only is there the account above but there are these two GoFundMe accounts also. Both looking for dental work donations. Which she was already given money for. $10,000 in fact at least. Her 'benefactor' has already admitted to giving her $25,000 towards bills, etc.

Her denials after our last posting ring decidedly hollow. Here is a screenshot of the YouCaring account. This one states two of her dogs need surgery.

So much for the first screenshot we posted being the only time Laura Richard has asked for aid. Our understanding from someone who knows a great deal about her is that GoFundMe, YouCaring and other such accounts have been Richard's way of making a living for a long while. This is just another piece of her endless untruthfulness. These accounts are the ones we have located. There could very well be more.

Next Laura Richard's states that she's had all of these car accidents that left her disabled and NONE OF THEM WERE HER FAULT. We find that very hard to believe as the court evidence says otherwise once again. Here is her spin on events.

But now let's look at Laura's driving history. First. From NJ under 2 names. Laura E. Mann and Laura E. Carter. Both of these individuals are her. This information was obtained directly from someone involved in law enforcement.

If you peruse the above two pages you will see that they are all driving and traffic offenses. Speeding, driving using a cell phone, reckless driving. Next we come to SC.

Again she has a charge of reckless driving. So is she really not to blame for any of her accidents?  Or did she cause them herself? Laura doesn't seem to learn her lesson either does she? Are people donating to someone who is the cause of her own issues if those issues exist at all? In the next group of SS she had no proof of insurance. So there had to have been an accident for her documents to be requested. Her bills would have been paid if she'd had insurance and it wasn't her fault correct?  Another example of her lying about her life and what she has done. We're going to post all of her crimes and civil actions THAT WE KNOW OF. She even bragged that her name is not on the property she lives on. There is a reason for that. Her property with James Mann had a lien placed against it. So more than likely she would not want her name on another property to have a second lien placed. Which means someone believes she owes them money. These are all in order of being located. Some are laid out in more than one page as the charge, judgments, etc. can be multiple pages.

In all of this you see a large assortment of offenses ranging from reckless driving, to ill treatment of animals, contempt of court, bench warrants being issued and civil judgments against her. These are all we know about at present. Laura Richard also resided in California where records are not necessarily available to the public. In her mind none of these are her fault it is always someone else to blame for her hardships. Other drivers, "bullies" (On more than one occasion), her husband, other Twitter users and the list of those to blame is endless in Laura's mind. Her psyche knows no sense of self responsibility.


Laura Richard will tell any lie to get a donation. She shamelessly uses her pets to get funds from people. Here she has 'the dog' talking. As someone who was a nurse she can post a lot of medical information that is not questioned unless another medical professional notices it. In this SS she asks for money because one of her pets has scratched either the cornea or RETINA of their eye.

There is only one problem with that scenario. The retina of an eye can not be scratched. Or it is at least almost impossible. Why is this important? Because it shows once again that Laura twists even the smallest detail to gain sympathy and advantage. The worse it sounds the better she likes it.

Next when the police showed up at her home for a wellness check Laura actually bragged that one of her dogs tried to bite the police officer and another peed on him.  But the important part was that she clearly stated that the police found them FAT AND HAPPY.

Then suddenly less than a month later Pipples is dying. Hasn't anyone who supports her questioned that at all? Some people wanted her to take down the GoFundMe page because of us. Because it was hurting people supposedly.  Which she was refusing to do. Suddenly her dog is very sick and people are falling over themselves to send messages of sympathy and better to Laura DONATIONS. If you believe that dog is ill you are gullible enough to sell the Eiffel Tower to. The question is....is Pipples fat and happy or dying of something? Her contradictions are other signs of a con artist. Such as thanking Shari for the teeth then denying she got the money from her.But anyone who knows someone on disability knows they have Medicare and Medicaid if they get SSI or SSDI. Medications are paid for and there is even dental coverage. Yes you can receive dentures from the Medicaid program and many people do.

But back now to Pipples. Laura states the dog may have cancer. She's redone the GoFundMe to focus on Pipples now.

The date is clearly 2/16/18 on it which is three days ago. There it shows the dog prescribed Temaril-P. Which is a form of a steroid. Used in treating allergies in dogs, itching and kennel cough typically. Here is a link explaining the drug's usage.

From the posting on GoFundMe dated from Friday, the same day as the vet visit she states what tests the dog needs but have not yet been done. Now that creates a serious issue. Because the dog has already been given Temaril-P. Which if the dog does have cancer is a highly inappropriate treatment if the vet has not done the tests and does not understand the nature of the illness as of yet. Or if it is even cancer at all. Also if you look carefully this receipt shows tests FOR A CAT NOT A DOG. It is a different vet altogether than she usually uses. Why?

So there are two possibilities. That the vet is not a good veterinarian or that Laura Richard is lying and the dog has kennel cough or some such allergy and is not dying at all. Or considering the cat entries it could be a faked receipt. Yet her benefactor who resides in Oklahoma not SC stated that she was with her at the vet. Now is that true? Is she lying to help Laura get money? We certainly hope not. No one bothered to check out her story which as usual has medical information in it that a non medical person might not have knowledge about. People just lined up like a gravy train to give her more donations. Are you all foolish? Naive? Gullible? Unable to do research for yourselves? What exactly is the truth? If she is lying about this dog's condition and using it to get money that is a very sick and twisted method of conning.

Next we come to a very difficult subject. We highly regret that this is necessary. We were asked not to use these but we decided to and we wish strongly that we had other recourse. As we know Laura has at least one large benefactor. In a previous text it was shown by their admittance that she has been given at least $25,000. It is not uncommon for a victim of a con artist to deny being conned. To publicly show support for the person who stole from them. But sometimes behind the scenes the truth comes out. Everyone who looks at these should be considering the following. Is this person happy to be funding Laura Richard? Is she threatening this person or holding something over her head? It certainly appears that way to us. Please read carefully and thoughtfully. This is that individual speaking about Laura Richard and how she really feels. It appears to us that she is intimidated and frightened. Doing what victims do. Blaming herself instead of the source of her misery, Laura Richard.

Laura is always trying to say she just wants help for her animals. That also is a lie. She has received funds for many more things than just her pets. This first three SS show the lie.

 Lawn mowers (really a tractor)  and aquariums which she freely states she received aren't pet supplies or vet bills or even dental bills are they?

The lies are continual and unending. All of these contradictions are the characteristics of a con artist.

Then she wants to get money from us for exercising our freedom of speech. Which is in fact what we've done. Everything is all about money of course with her. This is a case she would lose in spectacular fashion. Trust us.

We were very interested when we discovered she had an Instagram account and wondered what we would find there. As always some people can't resist showing themselves for who they really are. This first one is Laura and her "separated" husband together only a short few months ago when she's said they were not a couple and divorcing. 

The next 12 are inside her home at 1704 Firetower Road, Williamston S.C. None of us believe that anyone should live in poverty which is what Laura Richard makes it sound like she does daily. Take a look. We see leather couches, Nice rugs, kitchen and furniture. An expensive stereo speaker and a large flat screen TV. Faux granite floors.  A horse who looks to be in very good condition. Not the signs of a poor person who is in constant need of other people's money. It truly is sad to us that so many are just following her so blindly.

Does no one know how to make inquiries? To look at stories and see the contradictions? To consider  the incessant whining for money. See the SS from her benefactor. Truly that is someone who to us appears to be enduring harassment. That is not love. That is a con game. Laura Richard is a con artist. More people are even today donating to her false causes. Her lies and fabrications.

We can not allow those who enable, defend and protect her to remain anonymous. They are knowingly helping a criminal. In fact, some are cheering her on. So we are posting more of her supporters.  There is no acceptable excuse for supporting the illegal activities of this woman. We will leave off posting relatives for the present. But we have them to post if needed.

This is no longer just about the people on Twitter who belong to the pet groups. Or even just the people like her benefactor who have already given Laura Richard donations based on her lies. This is about the people who have yet to be taken advantage of by her. All those she will scam like she has over the last several days in future hours. Can anyone take the time and make the effort to truly look at all the information and see the truth? It seems not. The easy way is just to believe Laura Richard and allow her to inhabit your online groups, taking advantage of vulnerable members. 

A good person does not turn a blind eye to this kind of illegal activity. Because it is illegal to lie to extort money from people. It is not kind or good or generous or compassionate to support one person who is harming many others. Laura Richard thought we were gone and turned her game on high for donations. She was putting up GoFundMe requests today about every fourth post. The right thing to do is to stop supporting her, enabling her, and assisting her in stealing from other people. To sit down and look at your sense of what is fair and just. We will continue to contact the authorities, and post about both her and her supporters until her criminal activities cease or she is charged and arrested. We aren't going anywhere and a third posting will follow this one.
